
The replicative helicase is a key component of the replisome that unwinds duplex DNA to provide the single-stranded DNA template for DNA polymerases. Using single-molecule fluorescence imaging, this study investigates the dynamics of the Escherichia coli DnaB helicase during DNA replication.
