Dr Jordan Nicholls receives his doctorate

Congratulations to Dr Jordan Nicholls, who received his doctorate on 23 April 2026.

Jordan’s PhD thesis, titled ‘The Structural Determination of Nucleic Acid Binding Proteins by Cryogenic Electron Microscopy’, revealed new structural insights into how these DNA-interacting proteins shape how different biological systems function.
